I am thinking about going on 4/1. Possibly with my Pops. How far is the paddle?

Are these dates minus tides or does it matter? Never done it before and would love to give it a try.

You need an -.5 tide at least to be real sucessful and even better if you get one -1.0 or more

Hi Will,

Looks like we'll be clamming on Thursday as well.  Would love to carpool with you if you can take another yak.  My Tacoma is too small for 2 yak!  let me know either way.

Thanks,

Sonny

Hey Sonny,

I am down to go clamming on Thursday. My dad will be in town from Stockton and will be going with me. He has minimal kayak experience so I am hoping Thursday won't be super choppy in Tomales Bay. It seems like our abalone trip has been rained out so clamming sounds fun. I havent been since I was a kid and the Clam Clipper was running. We have shovel but I am going to try to find a tube and make a pump gun on Wednesday.

I have an extra cab GMC 1500 short bed. No racks, I just lay the boats in the bed. There will be a WS 16" Taron and a 12' pelican in the back. I am game to stack some yaks but 4 grown dudes in the truck is not comfortable, 3 is ok. Either way I would love to get out there and dig some clams with ya Thurs.

-Will
