Not much to report except that the snow is melting away quick. The lake needs as much run off as it can get... that place is super low. Anyways, I hit the water at 0630 and got off at 1800. Long day in the saddle for only 4 bites. Beautiful day though. Slick conditions all day long. Marked a lot of fish at most spots but couldn't buy a bite for my life. My first take down came at about 3pm... that came unbuttoned. Then, about 15 minutes later... another take down. Little fish. Got a big take down with some real weight... then, pop... it came off. DAMN!!! Got one more pull down and that was that. My butt was sore and it was time to head in. Can't complain too much though. Kept my Tally skunkless streak alive and spent a great day paddling. I love that place...

For me, a skunk at beautiful Lake Tahoe can beat a good day at most local lakes around here.  It ain't just about catching fish..... at least that's what I tell myself. :smt003

Sorry for the lack of pix fellas. Got up at the crack and headed up the hill. Got there and boy was I tired. And believe it or not... freezing cold. Maybe next time I'll do a better job of getting pix to you guys. I know you'd like to see the scenery and the little fish that I catch from time to time... but you've all seen Tahoe before... right??? Anyways, it's all good. I promise to post up pix on my next outing.

EWB- Hell yeah I wore shorts... under my waders. It was pretty cold up there when I arrived at the launch. Sun came out but didn't warm up much. Little breeze kept everything on the chilly side.

Craig- Hell no I didn't get my truck back. F n bastards just approved my claim yesterday. So, it'll be in the shop until next week sometime. Which SUCKS... but you know the scoop now.
