By the way the picture of her leaping from the bow and running through the water with you looking so proud is a GREAT picture and one you should have blown up and framed immediatly.  In one second you caught an image of what parenting is all about!

Thanks again guys...looking forward to meeting and fishing with all of you this year!!

Zinful1, my wife just got a new camera and was snapping away on the beach so all credit goes to her. I do agree the pics are sweet!!!  :smt007

You live in St Helena? My buddy Jake runs St. Helena Cyclery on Main St...I worked with him for several years in Nicaragua when I was a Peace Corps Volunteer down there, and then later when I stayed on to run a beach bar...we built a baseball stadium, a park, playground, some latrines, and finally over 60 houses....Jake can be pretty intense, but he has a good heart and has done some amazing things for the people of that small Nicaraguan town (Empalme de Boaco). The recipients of the houses actually decided to call their community little St. Helena!! Not sure if you are aware of the impact your town has had on their town, but it is pretty cool!!!!!

All the videos at the link above are pretty cool, but the Little St Helena one details the connection between St Helena and the Empalme, has a shot of me 9 years ago working on the stadium at 3:38, and as an added bonus it has my little Irish drinking buddy Paul Phelan in it!!

Anyway, sorry for the threadjack....I get distracted/carried away sometimes!
 :smt002

Sincerely,

Jim

Nice. I've been taking my kids once a week this year.  My two year old says " I wanna go water" every day now.

Hey Jim, thanks for the link on your work in Nicaragua, I knew that Jake was involved but not to that extent.  We have a lot mutual friends and I will look forward to trying to get to know him.  There is a lot of involvement with the Nepalese people here too.  I really enjoyed the video, thanks!  Jim (the other big Jim!)

As a future father (4-5 more weeks!) I really enjoyed the pics, Jim.

Thanks for sharing.

BTW - your wife is a heck of a photographer!

Nice report and pics!  It reminds me of my first trip out with my daughter a few weeks ago.  Hoping to go out again with her this coming weekend.  Thanks!
