No sturgeon for me today. Jay caught 2 though. I did manage a small striper. Some kids form Petaluma in a small aluminum boat caught 2 @ 64 and 56 inches. Nice fish. the fish are there and I think that with the tides getting better during the week it willl still be on.The last pic is a happy fisherman who knows its good just to be on the hunt sometimes. Saltydog, whrereare you? Are you still out there? :smt044

It was a good hookup but it was too bad that the fish didn't cooperate. I did catch two, but even if I put them nose to tail they wouldn't have made one legal sturgeon. I might make a mid-week run in Tuesday, but we'll have to see about that.

The day before was better, but I'm waiting for Jedmo to post the pictures of that one...  :smt007

Day started with great hope, but was not to be.  Launched just after daybreak -cool with a light breeze early, warm about 1100, then the wind picked-up by 1300.  Saw 3 sturgeon landed by PBs.  One 25 3/4" striper for me.

Good fishing with everyone again - Ravensblack, O2B, Saltydog, Eldorado, Fishin-Jay, joined by Guitarzan later in the day.

Oh Yeah, we heard Sonny over the radio somewhere out there chasing his dream catfish!  :smt044

WTG John and Craig on the stripers. BTW, did you folks count how many PB's
out there on Sunday? I ask because I counted at least 20 on Saturday. It was
nuts trying to paddle around them.

I got there @ the crack of noon to a windy river so I anchored up on the lee side on the bridge and pretty much stayed out of the wind, had a few taps that were striper-like, no takers. 0 for 5 this year not counting the dungies.
