Wow Sonny,
I haven't been able to fish for 3 weeks now and you are still trying to get a kitten  :smt044
I thought you would have been at 1000 points by now.
BTW you have inspired me to get a Surf yak also

I don't want to pull ahead too far that you might give up in chasing me  :smt044

Don't worry,
It's still a close race, Especially if you don't give up on either that lake or those kittys

I'm not giving up on catching a kitty from that lake.  You can count on that  :smt002

Good luck,
I'm sure you will prevail.

I should just give you the formula on how to make dynamite sticks like what
people used back home.  :smt005

Care for a demo this weekend?  :smt003

I can see the headlines now, "Kayakers arrested after explosion in local lake..."   :smt005

Sonny, our ponds are stocked with thousands of fish per acre. When they are hungry, and in the mood they'll strike almost anything. When they're not in the mood it's amazing what they *won't* eat.

Something that surprised me last summer was catching them on texas rigged plastic worms. And this seemed to work when other stuff didn't. You might try it, the downside is a LMB instead. BUT!!! if it works, you have to show me how to catch a  frigg'n sturgeon   :smt002 .

Thanks for your suggestion Ben.  At this point, I'll try anything to catch a frigging Catfish from this lake! (wish dynamite fishing is legal here) :smt003

If other water is an option <g>, bank anglers were killing catfish near Jeff's spot in the Delta. Saw a little girl with two on (one on each hook as here Dad lifted the line) as I drove by.

I know many other place to catch a Kitty, but determine to catch at least one from this lake!  It's "personal" now  :smt044
