No gps or color, but one that has the plug in type connections for the sonar sheild, I need one and not sure what site to get it from, or what model/brand,  $150ish. Thanx!

the one i used to have was the humminbird 565. liked it just fine.  you can find it in some local walmarts on clearance for $139.00.

not sure exactly what you mean by the plug in type connections for the sonar shield?

I'm guessing Ben meant removable, so you can pull the unit for surf landings?

the cheapo cuda's have worked for me....242 is around $80. It has the round plug and fit right in my sonar shield

Yup. Im getting tired of wiring it and fiddling with plastic wing nuts every time and the connector is starting to dissolve away, thanks :smt001

Ya Ben.  the humminbirds s  should fit right in.  do not order the portable.....also you may need to order extra the kayk transuder that fits in your front footwell scupper hole. Make sure to ask!
