Yeap, thats the spot!  Short walk from the road to the water.  Think the earliest I'll be there is 10-11 if your still going to be there.  Think the tides are in favor of the afternoon too:

Tides for Santa Cruz, Monterey Bay starting with March 6, 2010.

Day        High      Tide  Height   Sunrise    Moon  Time      % Moon

This is a great spot for perch. The only time I went there I absolutely killed it. I had over 20 fish in about an hour...all cnr. Good luck out there. If I didn't have a wedding to attend I would totally be there.

Hi FF:

What type of Tackle/Bait did you use? What's the size and limit for Perch?
I tried to upload the DFG jpeg but, it's taking too long! :smt044
                                                                                Thanks

Hey Mendo,

I just use a motor oil grub on a sliding sinker rig. Cast it right into where the waves are breaking and slowly drag it. There is no size limit for perch. Don't quote me on this but I think the limit is 10 but I'd double check that. I never keep perch...CNR only for me. Good luck out there.

Aggregate limit of 20 perch, with not more than 10 of a given species. Redtails have a 10.5" minimum; no size restrictions on other perch. Good luck tomorrow.
