Here are some pics for Yosemite.  Spent this last weekend doing something I have wanted to do and that was going up to YNP in the winter time.  I wish I would have had the time to see animals out in the park but hey, time was short and this was a quick weekend away.  GF and I stayed in El Portal had a room on the Merced, I brought the pocket fisherman with me, but didn't get any love from the trout down there.  This trip was about capturing some winter pics and not fishing.  Gf loved the hotel and the trip, we got a good hike in to Vernal (sp?) falls on Sunday before leaving.  Worht the drive down there

I was there 2 years ago in winter time and it's beautiful.  I got very close to the Bisons and saw many wild animals there!  Thanks for the pictures Kevin.

Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

I kid you not.   They're on the pavement next to the road and I was driving very slowly less than 5 ft from one of them.  Took some awesome close-up pictures that day.

Nice pix!   We try and get up to yosemite once a year.. usually in spring.  An amazing place.   My favorite easy to get to fishing spot there is tenaya lake.    A plain, small silver (barbless) kastmaster is about all ive ever used there and it works well.   C&R only on the bows up there but you can take browns.

Thanks for posting..  makes me want to get up there!

I hear ya...Jellystone is one of my favorite places. The Valley in winter is unbelievable-- frozen on the south side, baking sun on the north side....
