Well Jeff, you asked if there was any striper activity, and I got a couple today.  It was foggy until noon, and the water is starting to get more visibility.  Those two reasons may have turned on a momentary striper bite.  I noticed a few fish rise off the bottom on the FF when I cruised over a ledge.  I took out the rip bait, and within a couple casts, I had a nice 19 inch striper.  Two casts later, a much better fish took his turn to eat my lure.  This one was a great fight on 10 pound test line, towed me about for a bit, and finally decided to succumb to the Hobie after 4 or 5 minutes.  He was around 25 inches and about 7 pounds.  After a couple pics, I let him swim away.

I also got a few bass on the rip bait on that spot, and ended up with around 10 largies by the end of the day on a variety of stuff, the biggest was around 3.5 pounds.  Fun day OTW, considering I wasn't going to head out today.

Hope we can hook up soon Jeff.

Have a great weekend.

Thanks.  Sorry I let my FISHERMAN'S WAREHOUSE hat at home.  I'll wear it next trip out.

Nicely done HB, I need a day like that to get my confidence back!  Seems like a lot of dues paying around here lately for more than just me!
