Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

if I ever fish off thr rocks in such situations, I'm going to wear my PFD.  Didn't occur to me before to wear a PFD when fishing from shore.

When CHUB was little any time we even fished a stream I would make him wear a PFD for that exact reason.
I remember my step brother getting picked off a rock at Russian Gulch just above Jenner when he was 11. 1st swell took him off the rock and the next helped him right back on. His dad was right there and grabbed him with the 2nd swell.
Could have been so much worse.
Back then PFD? What's that?
Back then we ate Red Dye #5, rode in the back of pick up trucks on the freeway, didn't have airbags or high back seats and rode bikes w/o helmets.
No excuses these days.

We also had lead in water pipes, mercury in fillings, asbestos in elementary schools, and PCB's everywhere. Hell, my Dad's old Ford had a steel dash and didn't come with seatbelts. What doesn't kill you makes you tuff, and then gets you later.  :smt011
So I'm packing my bags for the Misty Mountains, where the spirits go...........
