The flag is a great idea! If you need a flag mount let me know. Installed one right after I heard the first boat pass over.
Like the flag mount, where do you get those???

:smt044  If you guys like that boogie board but can't afford the $350.  I will sell a comparable one at 1/2 the price of $325.  :smt003

Thanks everyone.  I'm in it for the love of the sport.  Not the money.   :smt006

May not be available this time of year, but Costco had a snowboard.  Like a boogie board, but nice handles on the top.  Would be a much better start for a dive platform.

shows some.

problem with boogie boards is that they really don't support your weight and are tippy.
The OBrien jimmy jam wakeboard is also made of foam, but has twice the flotation and is wider
than typical boogie board. Super price at Overton"s $59

This is the board bryan mabrey uses for his deluxe ab board.

I have both. I prefer the tube overall.
I think the tube is much easier than the boogie board when it comes to putting the abs in it.
The tube is much less prone to damage
The tube is easier to maneuver down a cliff.
The BB is definitely faster OTW than the tube.
The BB does cruise over kelp a lot easier.
The BB will flip when a big swell hits it when clipped to kelp or anchored to the bottom and is much harder to 'right' than the tube.
I use pool noodles in the tube instead of an inner tube. No puncture worries.
