These PETA people are NUTS!!! 

If PETA didn't try they'd lose face with all of their zealots.

BUT, even the most die hard PETAbot out there would know that replacing Punxatauny Phil with an animatronic version  :smt044ain't ever gonna happen. Nice suggestion though.

In regard to weather prediction, I'll take the advice of a living creature over a man-made machine any day. Time to wax up the ole' XC skis.
