All depends on how much you like that particular launch.
If I lived somewhat close I might consider it. Might even have an extra kayak there just for that very purpose.
Imagine fishing 4x a month from there.
Load, unload, load, unload..that's only one trip with it strapped to your vehicle and keeping it at home.
Now imagine the time saved not having to do that. It might make the difference between being able to fish or not that day. Quick stop right after work, fish for an hour or so and come home.
Like renting a boat slip only cheaper.
Not a bad deal for the right circumstances.
