I just saw an ad in Canoe & Kayak magazine for a product called G/Flex epoxy for fixing leaks in plastic, wood or aluminum.  I checked the website and watched the videos and this product looks pretty legit - just wondering if anybody has used this before.  One video they use a chainsaw and cut a yak in half and reassemble - then toss it off overpasses and put it through some strenuous tests.

I have a buddy with a pesky pinhole leak in his yak - looking for a good permanent fix.  Any advice on other products appreciated.

Have him get a soldering iron or a plastic welding iron and melt it back together. Its the best way to go!

Thanks - i think he tried the soldering iron and we have tried a few other things but they only seem to last a few trips - the plastic welder was on his list  next - sounds like that might be the way to go
