My wife loves ramen, ever since we went to japan on our honeymoon, we have been trying ramen houses everywhere, even once in new zealand.  We used to go to santa ramen when it was located in the tiny little shop on 3rd st, but only went to the new one once.  Do not like it as much now as it has lost the "feel" of being a tiny ramen house.

I would however highly recommend maruichi ramen in mountain view. They make the noodles fresh right there in a little room and you can watch the guy make it. Pretty cool, also very busy.
