I just picked this up...primarily for ability to use side-scanning sonar in addition to "quadrabeam" 90degree bottom viewing sonar.

I have a place on the water in Clearlake...so I am constantly fishing reeds, pilings, docks, etc.

Anybody using this model?

Now I've got the dilemma of how to mount transducers, etc.

I wish these damn units were capable of multiple transducer hookups...have to buy a damn $75 switch...plus switch sonar on console too.

Given chat in forums...I am seriously considering doing bottom/inside epoxy mount in hatch for bottom transducer...side scanner will prob' be suction cup'd as I would want to move it from left to right side (scuse me...port starboard) sides of yak.
