Just where is the Modesto Res Inlet?

Don't know exactly where the inlet is but the reservoir itself is east of Modesto off HW 132.

Badog, how did you do?

Michael

not sure if dave was able to get out. from what i understand he doesn't usually fish alone...nice guy though and good to fish with.  i just have way too many things running around to fish so close to home apparently  :smt001

I went with Jeff, Got 2 trout and lots of fog. It took an hour and a half to find the mouth of the inlet, normally a half hour paddle. I have never been so lost with visibilty at less than 200 ft. I had no idea of N,S,E,W it was truly like looking for a needle in a haystack, Even with my GPS. I need some kind of ram mount for GPS , it would have made it much easier. They released a bunch of water 2 days ago and the fishing was kind of funky. I was thrilled to get out fog and all!!!!!!!

I'll try this later when the whether starts to clear a bit... should be nice to fly fish at the inlet.
