Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

Thanks for the report Mike, looks like a good deal.

Also saw that the Jenner Headlands deal was completed.

In that article there was a brief mention of Hare Crk, now that's a great spot with close access to some great diving and fishing, there's access there now but it's really restricted by having to know exactly where it is and the trail isn't yak friendly.  It's one of those unmarked (but legal) access points buried in a neighborhood right on a property line between 2 houses with almost no parking.

I read an article on the mill property last year talking about "environmental clean up" that would really slow down developement, hope that doesn't affect the timing on opening it up for coastal access.

Anyhow that's still great news for the area, Thanks for putting that article up.

The trail is going to be sweet, but I have mixed feelings.  As a yak diving spot, the present area in front of the mill is awesome now.  Just launch at the beach by the harbor mouth and paddle around the point.  It's great because there is no land access, so the abs haven't been pounded.  When that trail opens, it's gonna be a little like sealion cove revisited..... a lot more pressure.

The Hare creek trail, on the other hand will be great for yak diving and fishing.  As Dale said, the access now is not yak friendly.  You can get there from the harbor, but its a long paddle.  Really good diving.

AS much as I have mixed feelings about the mill property opening up (it was already great for yakking), with the completion of these two coastal trails, one will be able to bike or hike from the Mouth of Ten Mile river to Hare creek beach, about 14 miles of coast line.  An amazing project.
