  I ran into a fisherman at the local the other day. He said it's old news that we can fish this year starting April 1. Was he pulling my leg?

 I was told that there will be a meeting in March to decide what kind of season there will be. (? one bag limit. Fishing on Wed and Sat only etc etc)   Anotherwords, stay tuned

I believe the regs state that ocean salmon begins April 1, contingent on a ruling by the PFMC in March...
