General request for feedback and pointers.

I watched this video then got the urge to explore Channel Islands SP.

Although I swore I'd never do it again after Tahiti, I called up Kristal's dad last week and asked if he wanted to sail the area this spring.  He said, "HELL YES!"  So we are tentative for a 2 night April sail out of Santa Barbara?

Q's, Anyone ever:

1. Camped/hiked Channel Islands?
2. Sail the area?
3. For fishing, I'll just read the reports archived here.  If I had to choose, bring the adventure in tow or the lil Drifter?
4. Should we bring some cold weather freedive gear?
5. Looks like there are some MPA restrictions.  Great.

I haven't fished the CI since I was a kid.  Used to go out of Port Hueneme all the time on the Pacific Eagle.  I cannot wait, this should be really fun.  Thanks in advance for any feedback.

You should sail the adventure out to the islands! You can borrow my sail kit and sidekicks. Not as good as the ai though.
