More yak fishing at Scotty's on the Sac near Chico.  Tigerfish and I got on the water today about 1 just in time for the blue dun hatch.  Size 18-ish if you are into that sort of thing.  Fish jumping everywhere.  We were using jigs which did not seem too upsetting to the steelhead.  I caught one right away followed by two more by Tigerfish.  Tigerfish bravely landed his first fish without the net!  Then he horsed a second into the boat unaided, risky behavior!!  But the bite was on, and there was no time to mess around with tangled nets.  On to the salmon fishing.  Tigerfish put it best when he said "the salmon fishing was off-the-hook"!!!

We were off the water by 3 pm with the 3 fish score.

Sounds like a great time OTW.  Thanks for sharing the "red hot" report and pictures Chris.

Hey David,
I like those universal fishing jigs! They catch everything that swims.
