Going to launch north shore and work into the shallows for trout. This will be the maiden voyage on my new yak. Advise and company more than welcome.

Since this is your maiden voyage on the new yak please be extra careful and don't forget the safety equipment (hand pump, VHF radio, etc...).  Good luck and looking forward to your report (+ pictures will be appreciated).
