I want to wish all the NorCal Kayakers & their families a Merry Christmas. Four of us left Alameda @ 0615 and headed out the gate. Weather was marvelous. We got to our string at the North Bar in 130' h2o. Pulled 5 pots for 4 limits and they were some good size. The pots are still producing some quality crabs. We checked the whole strings and all the pots are accounted for. Saw one big freighter not far from us headed north. On our way in there were hundreds of dolphins crashing on the surface and there were birds everywhere. Here are some pics.

thanx for the intel. seems like this seasons is playing out pretty nice. I want to hit the nearshore hole as soon as the wx permits after Xmas. Any Idea what the birds/dolphins were on? Id like to see a better showing of herring.
