Fishing below Freezing.

Any issues with fishing in freezing conditions?

 I am not concerned about hypothermia, I have the outerwear, gloves, etc, and have fished/waded in some extremely cold weather.

My main concerns are related to my kayak since I have never fished from one when it was really cold.  Should I be concerned about water seeping into and expanding in rivets or other parts of the kayak creating leaking issues down the line. Are any types of sealants (GOOP) prone to failure in very cold conditions?

I fish in the freezing weather from a kayak before (many of NCKAers here do too) and no problems with leaking afterward.  Just make sure you keep your head & ears warm and bring along hot liquid (soup, tea, or coffee).  Welcome to the MADNESS!
