Here are the squid.  I started playing with multicolored pours but have a little more practice to perfect it.  I like the white and pink squid.  The lines were drawn on with a sharpie and then the bait flashed/heated to melt the ink into the surface.  The flashing also gives the bait a nice shine.  Each square on the board is an inch, to give you an idea of the size.

I am very pleased with the new plastic I bought.  I got some of the saltwater "green" plastic from Lure Craft.  I definitely noticed the new plastic pours better, does not smoke as bad and had a lot less odor.  I am very pleased with it.

Here are some swim baits I am playing with.  Again, I am trying to do the multicolored pours.  I think a thicker band across the back will work well.  I poured the two colors pretty quickly so they blended.  I am going to let the colors cool a bit before the pour next time, to see how a solid line looks.

I also poured some more creature baits.  I sealed up the bondo mold a little more and the baits have a nice finish to them.

I also got myself a roller cutter like what is used for quilting and a board to trim the flashings on the baits.  It worked a lot better than the little fly scissors I have been using.

I also have been pouring some new lead heads with a little change that I think will work well.  But that is another post…….

Matt

Very nice works.  My favorite is the white squid in the first picture  :smt007

Bent Hook, I have a menagerie of molds.  RTV, Durams Water putty sealed with white glue and bondo.  They all work great!
