Here's a few shots of steelhead and a few salmon in the AR hatchery holding pen on 12/29/09.  First pic is Hazel Ave bridge project just above hatchery.  Saw maybe 25-30 or so steelhead in the holding pen (6-12# OR SO), one around 14# or so.

Photos like that just give me a warm, tingly feeling all over.  Thanks Bird.  Keep 'em coming if you have em!

Went for a walk along the AR in the Sunrise area this afternoon.  Flows about 1950 cfs.  Vis about 3ft.  Scattered pairs of salmon spawning on some of the usual gravel bars - watch for redds.

Thanks John I'll get up to The Hatchery and get some photos from the Russian. Sure makes my blood rush.

Joel you can volunteer to lead the school kids around the Hatchery on a tour. Be good experience for all those Ecco Tours you will be doing up in the 50th
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.
