Had the chance to go back and try for the big guy I lost. This time I got on the water by 10:30. I paddled all over the place looking for a bite. I got the yak moving pretty good today. It was nice being out there again.

Power bait got one.

Ate some left overs.

I stayed out till dark.

I paddled a good 2 miles in the dark. I really enjoyed it. Kayaks rule.

Nice Catch!  How big was it?  Looks like FAC water there.  Thanks for the report and pictures.

I measured it without the head and it looks like it would have been around 17".
