I live just outside of Healdsburg 1 mile upstream from 101 (N 38.36.361,W122.50.956)        Right now my rain guage is reading 2.25" since yesterday and it starting to really rain just now. Just looked at the River and it's still really clear but is just starting to come up.

What's your loc and rain totals

Wow...that is a lots of rain!  We got only about .3" in the last 24 hours.  Need more rain!

Well, I've drained my 500Gal rain water tank now 2 times (Yesterday and just a few minutes ago.) It was topped off full both times.  Generally speaking a roof area that's 1000 sq ft total, will, with 1" /hour of rain fall, collect 600 gallons.  My roof is about 1200 sq.ft so I'm guestimating I've had a little over 2" fall so far (Maybe a little more my tank has an overfill, no telling how long it was running)
Were having lightning & thunder right now though, with a steady rain and seldom gusts of high wind.

That sounds about right Troy.  I heard on the news that the Santa Cruz mountains have received in excess of 2 inches.

Not quite sure about down here in San Jose.  I don't feel like we've received much.  It has misted all day and occasionally rained.  If we got an inch, I'd be surprised.  Not that I'm complaining because we definitely need it, I just thought the forecasts were calling for more rain here.  I'll take whatever we can get.

My local MSN weather is forguessing rain through next Thursday for us.  Although I just got back from running a honeydo for the wife and the sky seemed to be clearing up some.  Although living in the redwoods as I do, it'll continue to rain for a few days when the wind blows and moves my trees!
(It's amazing how much water these redwoods hold!)

I'm sitting here in Incline Village, and I've had to shovel nearly 18" off the decks since Wed, first 10" was really dry and light, probably only an 3/4 " of water in there, this last batch was good old sierra spackling i'd bet another inch. Snowplows running all night (two passes on our street), so must be at least another half foot out there.

POWDER DAY!!!
