The autumn bass bite is on at Lake Sonoma now that the lake has turned over, according to Justin Kelly at Outdoor Pro Shop.

"There is a lot of shad in the water and bass and land lock steelhead have been caught on the surface chasing bait,"

Bruce Dyche of Windsor has been experiencing hit and miss trout action while trolling Apex lures, Cripplures and Hum Dingers behind Sling Blades at Sonoma. On his best recent trip, he and his fishing buddy caught and released 12 landlocked steelhead in the main body and the creek arms.
