video editing software?

I used to use an older version of Adobe Premiere with great results, but needed to update since all videos being shot are 1080p HD now. Frys always has sales on video editing/authoring software.  I recently picked up the Pinnacle/Avid Studio Ultimate 11, and Sony Vegas both free after rebate. If I ever find the time to install and use them, I will report back.

FYI I found this link to be very helpful in me posting my first GoPro vid...and all of the software was free.
