Went out on the Sac for a couple of hours today with Kris for a bit of exercise . Thats because we did'nt catch a thing .Trolled up stream and drifted down a couple times and called it a day . 5 weeks left in the short season . Will be going out every chance I get . There are fish in the river . Just none for me yet . Thats all for now . David

Tigerfish and I went out to try our hand at salmon out of the kayaks on the sacramento at Chico.  I was out yesterday also, in the rain.  I think the word slow best describes the fishing.  I tried everything today too.  I left the camera, stringer, net, and knife all at home.  And still caught nothing.

We will let you know when it picks up.

Way to go Elongatus, if you can leave all of that at home and still not hook up I guess all you needed was a sandwich in your mouth to get a strike!   Did you have a banana on board?
