Just to give you guys a heads up, MBK Moss Landing is having our annual used boat sale and we have some used boat for sale that would make great fishing kayaks or buddy boats.

These kayaks are in good condition and have been used in our rental fleet for one to two seasons and show the normal signs of use, such as light scratching. They are sold as is of course.

I currently have one yellow Tarpon 140 left here at Moss for $475.

Aaron,

Do you have any pics of the Prowler 13s? My wife and I have been considering getting a few more SOTs for the kids and this looks like a great price.

Thanks,
Ray

Sorry, no Tridents this season...they didn't change the mold, so we're keeping the ones we have one more year for demos.

The highest capacity would be a Tarpon 130T...a tandem that can be rigged as a single.Between the Tarpon 140 and the Prowler 13 I would say the Tarpons have a bit more primary stability and a bit more volume.

No pics...they are going fast.Sold one Prowler 13 on Friday and a Tarpon 140 and a Malibu II XL on Saturday.

Sharky, We just rig a standard Surf to Summit seat in the center of the boat using factory pad eyes.Although you may have to add pad eyes to outfit the seat exactly where you want it.The T130 comes with a third molded set of foot wells in the middle of the yak.Ideally, the solo paddler would be centered on the yak as much as possible. If they are too far back the bow rides too high, pushes water and is adversely affected by the wind.I took a 6'9" dad and a small child on tour in 15kt wind in a T130 and the bow rode so high the boat was not tracking. We pulled to the bank of the slough and I added a 20# chunk of cement under the bow rigging and the problem was solved. :smt003
