Slow day today.   Lauched near Basalt and started in the bay next to the dam. Tom rode front and took honors with our 1 lowly 17.5" striper for the day, caught on ultralight so at least it was interesting.  About 10:00 trolled along the dam towards the trash racks.  Marked a school on the way and dropped a minnow down.  Tom immediately hooks up then crackers the fish with the line parting at the knot.  No more action after that as there was not another minnow rigged up and by the time we tied up, we couldn't find the school.  Took a look at the 8-10 boats at the trash racks with no one hooking up, then trolled home.  Nice conditions all morning.

I think I like Oneil better.
