Funny thing about the "lake". Once the pots were set and the outgoing tide started RIPPING the wind came up and things got real ugly. One couple (on a giant pontoon boat with an electric motor) were having a bugger of a time getting away from the spit. I chatted/stayed with them while chastising them about no pfds or neoprene until they hit the shore....dumbarses.
