Went with my friend that doesn't have a kayak.  Rented a boat and trolled for trout at Chabot yesterday from 0730 - 1400.  Scratchy bite all day long.  Seemed best around the island and just inside the adjacent cove.  We ended up getting nine and kept six of those.  They ran from 8 - 14".  All caught on nightcrawlers behind a flasher.  Very nice day, a bit cool in the morning.
