doran crabbing

gonna hit doran tommorow morning and drop the traps and try to get some crab for the wife who comes home tommorow from a trip, nws forecast is not too bad, 10kt wind, 2ft wind waves 6-8 foot swell @12 sec, probably on the beach by 8 and have to be at sonoma airport at 230 to pick wife up, so off the water pretty early, noonish, cameron

Sounds like fun. Can't tomorrow but maybe another time if you go again. Let us know who it goes.

cameron, i will meet you there.  i usually park and launch from the westernmost end of the beach behind the inner breakwall. Is that where you are launching?

There was a ton of traps straight out from there Sat am due to the swell. There were far less on the other south jetty side towards seal rock. Also saw a few boats out from the estero. Good luck you guys I gotta work.  jim
