is anybody up for striper fishing the Delta this saturday?

Thinkin' about hitting the delta Sat. Possibly West Delta but don't have any intel on the bite. What area do you have in mind?

I probably won't go that far up towards Sacto & now Saturday isn't lookin' too good for me, but try posting the date (Sat) in the hook up subject line & you might get some company.
BTW, are you gonna use the fly rod?

I just happen to have that day off... but this ain't my thread.  futhel, Tuesday? School's out, right?!?

no schools out on wednesday for me.  no big deal ill still go to the delta on saturday, still not completely sure where, ill call fishermans wherehouse and ask for reports.  and yeah ill have my flyrod out with me.

I am thinking about Discovery bay this Friday if I make it I will post a report and give up some intel.

Guys,   Hobie Dave and I are going to try Big Break Friday (tomorrow).  I'll post our results as soon as I get home.

disco bay is slow right now , alot of big stripers being landed in suisun bay , people have been soakin bullheads

Disco is a no go then. Plan change motorcycle ride to Halfmoon Bay for chowder.

ill be at mildred slough tomorrow, read up reports and talked for hours and have decided thats where they should be.  I'll be in a BRIGHT YELLOW kayak, if you happen to be around id love the company,
