They planted a total of 2,750lbs of trout at the Quarry during the month of October.Got to the Quarry around 8am Quarry was fogged in till around 11am or so. Trolled J5s & J7s (fire Tiger)surface and needle fish (clown)15ft OTW.Around 2mph on the GPS. Hooked and released fish all day.Largest around 7lbs the rest DFG size. The 7lber had so many leaches I just unhooked it at the boat.It had been in the Quarry for a while. The rest of the fish were very clean and frisky for their size.I had one of those C & R days The Quarry is down 20+ feet surface tempture 60+ degrees.

Was nice to see you are still hitting Quarry.  I thought maybe carp fishing had become your main focus of attention.

Each kind of fishing has it's own attraction and troolling seems to give me the most enjoyment. It's what I know and do best. Some times you have to drift away and come back to see what you were missing. Thanks guys for the warm welcome back. Your a great group of fishers.

Does the quarry have mussel inspections? I've been turned away from Del Valle a couple times. for dampness. Just condensation from leaving the boat cartop overnight. I live in Fremont too. Maybe we can connect sometime. Would definitely appreciate any insites on, or tips on how to fish the local "lake".

Affirmative.

I have been turned away when it was raining, and again when an unidentified something was found in the lake one Sat.

The lady with the old Mustang is especially nice.

Nice Day Ray how is the Carp Fishing?
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

Nice Day Ray how is the Carp Fishing?
It's like watching grass grow. You plant the seed and wait for the carp to take the bait. They can also be caught with flies (fly fishing)It can be an intriging way of fishing.Depends on what intrest you put into it like all other kinds of fishing.

Yes all vessles are inspected. When I leave the park my boat is secured to my trailer for the next visit with a regestered tyrap As long as that tyrap is on the boat I don,t have to be inspected the next visit. Also good for DV
