GWS Realesed from MBA

Another Great White Shark has been realesed into the waters of Monterey Bay by the MB Aquarium! Yikes! Although previouse reports show the sharks swim south. Warmer water is my guess? Sorry dont know how to post link to artical. Im sure someone can help...Andy

Well, the pinnipeds are here for the winter, and so are the fish that feed on 'em. They don't swim south for a few months yet. I think they take off for the tropics in the spring, some to hawaii and some to mex. Harputmanuki posted some visuals of the migratory patterns in the GWS thread.

some do just hang around here the whole year I suspect.

What size was it?  Not that it matters, but would be nice to know so I can tell my kids about it.  Where was the article Andy?
