Kiel, Make sure you post some pics of  the home land, ya hear!

Have a fantastic trip!

Alex :alien:

I will try Alex and thank you.  :smt002

Kiel

Kiel,

Maybe you should join up with this guys.   No need to rent a kayak.  For about $30 you can have a banka and a boatman to take you out fishing all day.  In your province you probably can get it cheaper.

Rey,

Thanks for the info, I was thinking to bring my fishing reel and just rent a pole over there, but again it's stormy right now in PI.

I have a cousin own a couple of those outtrigger boat and they go fished at night but if the weather looks good at day time, probably will try to go fished. and try to catch king mackerel( tanggigi ) dorado, or maybe ahi.  :smt003

Members are mostly from the island of Luzon but there are others from Iloilo, Cebu, Davao, etc.. Freshwater fish in the Philippines are generally bangus, tilapia, dalag, hito.. etc and not considered sport fish.  I've been reading a lot about fishing there and it seems like there are still a lot of untapped areas inshore.  But, then those bankas don't go very far to get those GT's, tuna, dorado and Lapu Lapu.  Just have to go there at the right time because the bait fish moves around.  That's what I've been reading, not experienced.

Nice fishing with you again Mike. Always a pleasure. I am sure glad I showed up
even with the forcast being windy and high swells. My wife was happy when I
came home with my limit for a change. :smt003

Jedmo
JedMo, you did a great job there buddy! Things must have continued to get better-I had a feeling they would. Is that a fat cabbie or a ling,, what kind of rig did you get him on?   Mike

That was a 27"ling that I caught it on 8" blue\pearlwhite color swimbait. It is going to be a long
wait for the rockfish season again. At least we have the crab season to look forward to.
