New to this Kayak fishing thing - but it's great! Took my 10 y/o off McNears for a few hours of high tide on Saturday. We dragged around swimbaits and a hair raiser for nada - hooked up our share of salad is all - but what a great day it was on the water! Ran into Fishunter and a couple others just long enough to say Hey. A shoutout to Steve for the post that got us out there - I could do that for months without catching anything and not care. Hopefuly I won't get a chance to test this resolve :)

Needless to say you can always grip onto something or anchor and throw bait out.  There are plenty of sharks and rays there to give a 10 year old a good sleigh ride!
