Heading up to Ocean Cove next weekend to get in some fishing and ab diving. I know there was a post for a freedive tourney but i plan to head up and hang out this weekend also. I never seem to get any fish when I spearfish anyway but might enter just to register my big ab of the day. I'm hoping to paddle out of Stump beach if the weather flattens out, otherwise i will just fish the Salt Point area (well actually Stump is in Salt Point). Anyway feel free to join up.

I won't be able to make it up on Firiday till afternoon but will kayak on Sat and Sunday. Hopefully i can talk someone into going up to the Horseshoe point area to get some huge abs and BIG fish if conditions are nice.

I would love to do a dive and then fish the heck out of that area. I'll be at Ocean Cove all weekend. Look for the red and white Mallotte, tent camping.

Where about are you guys gonna ab dive? I had never fished or dove in the Salt Point area. I'm planning on meeting up with the Stump Beach folks on Sunday, but I'm thinking to join you guys for abs since the two groups are in the general area anyway. I'm a noob and can dive no more than 12-15 ft. Is your dive spot noob friendly?

Horseshoe cove is definetely noob freindly as long as no north swell which should be the case all weekend. I will be heading up Friday night and plan on diving this on Saturday morning. I'll be in White Durango with lots of empty beers around the site. :smt044

I see. I'll miss your dive since I'm coming up Sunday. I guess I'll be sticking with the Stump Beach group then. Thx.
