am in and am a newby any tips on what to bring?

Bassbay, most people drift shiners or bag bait.  Some use plastics.  I usually use a 4-5' leader off a torpedo sinker 2-4 oz depending on current, or a three way swivel with a12-18" dropper for the weight.  Drift it vertical and keep contact with the bottom, and let the fish take it good before swinging for the fence.  Feed some line to it, and when it really loades up, you got 'em.

There is a very slim chance I can make it on Saturday.  I got GF points to earn, we have a thing at 5:30 in Danville, but see no reason why I cannot go and fush until around noon, and then come home clean gear, shower/shave, and make an ass of myself in front of her family Saturday evening!  Stand by men, I may need some back up phone calls to reassure her this is the best thing for me and our relationship!

Rich - no better way to make a good impression with her family then with fresh halibut for the BBQ!  .....or at least a reason to justify the fishing trip!

I am hoping for a buffet style dinner.  Tomorrow catching baracuda and WSB with possible bycatch of rockfish, sandabs, shark, etc.  If I can sneak Saturday-halibut and sharks.  I can prove to her family I am a worthy gatherer and suitable for their daughter! SO, if by chance the skunk lands on me, I need phone numbers people, to hook up a brother with some fish, or at least a text to let me know what is on sale at Safeway!!!
