short: 18 fish to 22" from rockwall, to the creek mouth

most on hairraisers, a few on a surface yozuri crystal minnow.  Seemed like the bigger fish were right on the surface today-- just don't get them sometimes

CPkayak: yah, noticably fewer fish than in weeks past.  I'm actually thinking that a lot of the fish must have moved into the creeks, delta etc.  The hole under the SR bridge was BARREN!!!  With the rain we're having here now, its even more dismal-- Sunday is the next decent looking window

ChuckE-  I really had to WORK.  I picked up five along the rockwall (all by the fence).  Another 8 or 9 were at the mouth of the creek on the outgo- fish were holding right at the drop-off into the Ferry channel. The rest were up against the edges of the creek about midway down (and right on the surface).  Interestingly, none at the guardtower cove, none at the bridge, none at the windsurfer launch.

Its almost over guys-- better get it while you can

I'm thinking of heading out tomorrow morning to fish in the fog and rain on the incoming.  Would the weather tend to slow down a striper bite?

I've never actually gone up that creek . . .  the spot where I hooked up last time was at the dropoff just as Steve described.

If I have another hard day of it then the weekend goes to the delta!

the only thing the rain will do is muddy up the waters a bit.  A bit more rain and IMO the fish will get signaled to move up to the delta.

Weather report looks good, and here in Fairfax we didn't get much rain (just enough to settle the dust, not enough to create puddles). on tam it looks like there was a bit more, but the cascade creek's flow hasn't changed- still low/non-existant and clear.

pretty stupid about being lazy and sleeping in instead.  No fog and very little wind . . .

Always a hard time with early mornings  :smt015
