plan was to launch the yak outta mcavoys and anchor near the channel to hook into a pig , buddy called last minute and said he had the day off so we took out my PB instead , got out there around8am and by 9 had a 24 inch striper that i caught in the boat and my buddy nailed a 40 inch sturgeon on grass/ghost combo once the tide flipped the diaper stripers started going to work on our bait and the sun was roasted our melons! the bite is still ht or miss but last night my buddy nailed a 55 inch sturg at the flet so time and place! once this water cools down a bit the bite will be on!
