Got on the water at the crack of eleven figuring to fish through to the other side of the 1:00 high tide. Water and wind were calm, with lots of people fishing from the rocks and a few boats drifting. I paddled out to the break in the wall and dropped in a frozen anchovy and began to drift back toward the ramp on the tide. After finding the leader tangled after the first two checks I rerigged with a spreader bar. Kept drifting all the way past the ramp for nothing. I didn't see any birds working bait either. Paddled back into the wind that had by now come up for one more drift, again for nothing (no rays no sharks no bites no nothing) and then called it a day around 2:00. I'd been away for a while so it was fun to get my boat back in the water but the fishing was flat.

Glad you had fun getting back OTW.  Thank you for the report Mike.
