Headed up to Ft Bragg with the wife and some friends. We rented a house for A little of relaxation and what not. Myself and some friends were thinking of taking our yaks for a little fishin.
Anyone know of any spots I can launch besides the marinas? Maybe a small beach away from the marinas where I won't get pounded. Thanks.

I'm pissed off to report that we have no fishing season up here now.  After a whopping 3 months, it was over on August 15.  And, no, I did not see, catch or even hear about a Yellow-eye or Canary rockfish being caught.

So, I can give you many launch spots if you still want to go out, but unless you're going for sandabs, halibut, or tuna, there's no fishing.  Lots of diving still.

Thanks Dave. Well I totally forgot the season up there ended already. Man that was fast  :smt010.
Well maybe I'll go down to Pt. Sur on Friday afternoon w/ wife and do a little camping and fishing.

Thanks - Mike.
