wanna trade?

i have a 14' old town dirigo 140 sik that i bought new last december. It is a very nice boat,tracks well and very stable. it has a large rear dry hatch, front dash with small dry storage and also a removable jump seat so you can take a child out with you, and plentiful deck bungies. I am happy with this boat, but all i do is fish out of it and am wishing now that i had bought a sot. anybody got a sot they wanna trade or know someone who does?

I found myself in the same situation you are in a while back.   I had a perception touring yak that I was very happy with but it just didn't wanna fish.    I'd been paddling it for 5 years and it was still in great shape, so I put it up on craigslist for a reasonable price and it sold in one day for pretty much what it cost me to turn around and get a SOT. (manta ray 14)   Lately Ive seen a number of great looking deals here on the site for SOTs and it seems like craigs has a lot more yaks now than it did when I was looking.

Question: How do you pull on the spray deck if the pole holders are inside the cockpit?
