I love halibut fishing because halibut are one of the few fish I keep, so when I see that rod tip twitchin' my heart rate increases and I get all jittery. During the battle yesterday I kinda had to stop and take a few deep breaths to calm down.

That is the best part of it all. The addiction the rush filling your veins, not seeing ,hearing or feeling anything else at the moment. Good job I feel your excitement.

plan to hit Paradise myself on Monday............Hard to sell cars when there are no customers.....So I need a little stress relief.  Was hoping to make my own bait in Loch Lomond in the AM...It will probably piss off Keith but he wants to much money for his bait.....And will then head for the pier.  May bring the cast net after your report of bait in the area.

Still only one Hallie for me this year but not for lack of trying.
