From the report:
"There were a number of times that we ended up less than 2 feet from the mouth of the sharks, but having good buddies looking out kept any accidents from happening."

Accidents???? is that the right word? Those guys are some frekkin skilled watermen!!!!!!!

FTA:"And while im thanking people I want to thank Chris from Sea Sniper for lending me his personal gun to use for the trip, which I shot that yellowtail with from FAR away. Unfortunately the gun is on the bottom in 400 ft of water due to a white shark eating my buoy, pulling the gun out of my hand and taking the whole rig to the bottom, biting through my bungee with its teeth. It was a beautiful gun with a sick squid paint job by amadeo."

Mr. Bachar I presume.  Another fine NCKA member.   :smt001

That is one badass story and pics to back it up.  Big balls indeed.

In-f***in'-credible!!!

"Diving with the sharks required us to be really cautious and on top of our game..."  Ya think???

"We got to do numerous dorsal fin rides on several sharks..."

400 feet--that's below Nitrox or Trimix deep diving depth at least I was thinking. Crazy deep. And then it hit me--they should call up Julie Packard and see if they can borrow a deep submersible and go get the gun. I am sure she's love to help.  :smt044 :smt044 :smt044

Based on the description, this is probably the gun that's MIA:
